Technical AI & Software Systems · Alberta, Canada

Intelligent systems that work.

Jetch Systems designs, builds, and delivers AI software and technical systems for organizations that need them to perform under real operating conditions: regulated, data-heavy, and in daily use.

We take on problems that need real engineering: platforms that handle money and regulated data, real-time streams from sensors and transactions, and AI that has to explain itself to the people who act on it. Every system is specified in writing, tested against its requirements, and handed over with the documents your team needs to run it.

Engineering first. AI where it earns its place.

Jetch Systems is a technical AI and software systems company based in Alberta. We design, build, and deliver software for organizations whose systems have to perform under real operating conditions: in daily use, with real data, and often under regulation.

We focus on production systems rather than prototypes. That means agreeing requirements and success criteria before design starts, making architecture decisions deliberately and writing them down, and testing against the performance your operation actually needs.

We apply AI where it delivers clear technical or operational value: detecting anomalies in sensor streams, explaining why an alert fired, or removing manual steps from a workflow. Where a simple rule or a well-designed screen does the job better, we say so.

More about how we work

Production software for energy, compliance, and operations

Six systems designed and built end to end, from multi-tenant business platforms to real-time industrial monitoring. Each one started with written requirements and finished with tests, guides, and a handover.

Vanguard AML

An API-first anti-money-laundering layer for Alberta's iGaming operators. Identity verification, sanctions and PEP screening, real-time monitoring with explainable alerts, a case workbench, and automatic staging of FINTRAC reports against their deadlines.

The problem. Alberta's iGaming market opened in 2026 and every operator needs a compliant AML program. Bank-grade suites do not model casino reports or iGaming patterns, and casino-focused tools are priced for large enterprises.

  • Identity verification, self-exclusion checks, and scheduled screening
  • Real-time transaction monitoring with tunable, backtested rules
  • A case and enhanced due diligence workbench for investigators

PPI

Predictive Pipeline Integrity: an IoT and AI platform for proactive pipeline maintenance. Real-time sensor streams, anomaly detection with explainable-AI overlays, defect engineering calculations (B31G, RSTRENG, DNV), risk assessment, and cathodic protection monitoring behind an operator dashboard.

The problem. Pipeline operators need to find integrity problems before they become incidents. Sensor data, inspection results, and engineering calculations usually live in separate systems, so risk is assessed late and by hand.

  • Real-time ingestion of pressure, flow, temperature, acoustic, and corrosion sensors
  • Anomaly detection with explainable-AI overlays
  • Defect assessment using B31G, RSTRENG, CSA Z662, and DNV methods

Eland

Multi-tenant practice management for engineering and construction firms. Projects and phases, time and expenses, billing for every common contract type, and double-entry accounting in one system, so approved time flows to invoices and the ledger with no re-keying.

The problem. Engineering firms run projects, timesheets, billing, and accounting in separate tools and spreadsheets. Invoices go out late, phase budgets overrun before anyone notices, and leadership cannot see true profitability.

  • Projects, phases, schedules, and a project hub with budget burn against progress
  • Time and expense entry with approvals, timers, and time off
  • Billing for hourly, fixed fee, percent complete, cost-plus, unit, and percentage-of-construction contracts, with retainers and retainage

What we do

From a single integration to a full platform, with one accountable team from requirements to handover. Most engagements combine two or three of these services.

Services in detail
  1. 01Custom Software DevelopmentEnd-to-end design and development of intelligent software built around your operational and technical requirements. We take a system from a written problem statement to running software: requirements, data model, interface, integrations, tests, and deployment. You get one accountable team for the whole path, not a hand-off between agencies.
  2. 02System Architecture & EngineeringScalable architectures designed for performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.Architecture decides what a system costs to run and to change. We write each significant decision down with the reason and the trade-off, so your team can review it now and revisit it later.
  3. 03AI IntegrationAI capabilities added to your platforms, workflows, and enterprise systems you already run.We add AI where it changes an outcome you can measure, and we make its output explainable to the person who has to act on it. Models sit behind clear interfaces so they can be tested, monitored, and replaced.
  4. 04Performance EngineeringSystems tuned for speed, efficiency, resource optimization, and production-grade reliability. We agree on performance targets in numbers before the build, then test against them. When an existing system is slow or expensive, we measure first and change what the measurements point to.
  5. 05Intelligent AutomationAutomation that removes manual steps and delivers operational improvements you can measure. Most operational cost hides in re-keying, chasing, and reconciling. We map the manual steps, automate the ones that are rule-based, and leave a person in the loop where judgement matters.
  6. 06Technical Consulting & AdvisoryClear guidance on AI strategy and Integration, architecture decisions, technology selection, and implementation roadmaps.Sometimes the most useful deliverable is a clear decision. We assess where you are, what the options cost, and what we would do in your position, in writing and in plain language.

What you receive on every engagement

Working software is the start. These are the documents and tests that let your team trust it, run it, and change it after we hand it over.

01Written requirements
User stories with testable acceptance criteria, agreed before the build starts.
02Architecture decisions
Each major choice recorded with its reason and trade-off, so it can be reviewed later.
03Security review
A threat model before the build and a code review against OWASP guidance before go-live.
04Automated tests
Unit, integration, and browser tests named after the requirements they prove.
05Guides and training
Operator, end-user, and training material written against the finished system.
06A clean handover
Deployment notes, a change log, and a ranked list of recommended next steps.

How an engagement runs

The same five stages whether we build a feature or a platform.

  1. Stage 1

    Discovery

We talk through the problem, your constraints, and how you will measure success.

  2. Stage 2

    Specification

Requirements, architecture, and security requirements in writing, for your review.

  3. Stage 3

    Build in phases

Working software at the end of each phase, tested, with a preview you can use.

  4. Stage 4

    Harden

Security review, performance testing against agreed targets, and fixes before launch.

  5. Stage 5

    Handover

Deployment, guides, and training, so your team can run and extend what we built.

Questions we are often asked

Something else on your mind? Ask us at [email protected].

What kind of projects do you take on?

Custom software, AI integration, system architecture, performance work, automation, and technical advisory. Our work ranges from a focused compliance layer to multi-tenant platforms with billing and accounting. If the problem needs disciplined engineering, it is a fit.

Can you work with the systems we already run?

Yes. AI integration and automation usually mean working inside the platforms and workflows you already have. We can also review an existing system and give you a prioritised plan for what to change.

How do you decide where AI belongs?

We start from the outcome you need to measure. AI goes where it changes that outcome, such as detecting anomalies or scoring risk, and its output is made explainable to the person who acts on it. Where rules or a better interface do the job, we use those.

What do we receive at the end?

Working software plus written requirements, architecture decision records, a security review, automated tests, guides and training material, and a handover with recommended next steps.

How does an engagement start?

Send a short brief through the contact page or email [email protected]. We read every inquiry and reply with next steps, usually a short call, followed by a written proposal covering scope, approach, and phases.

Where are you based?

Alberta, Canada. Several of our systems are built around Canadian requirements, including FINTRAC reporting and payments in Canadian dollars.
